how well did the brakes hold up?

 

What a gas!!

 

I forgot to mention the brake upgrades.
Front: Hawk DTC60 pads + cooling ducts.
Rear: Hawk HP+ pads + dust shields removed.
ATE super blue brake fluid
That setup works great with no issues all day long.

 

I would have liked to see a little of the car for perspective.

Awesome stuff! The only tracks I can get to around here are ones set up in airfields or at Fontana speedway. Mostly a half mile track which I can't go faster than 2nd gear. Great for steering and handling but I'd love to open her up. Thanks for posting. You using a gopro? Where'd you mount it?

Grattan is one of my favorite tracks in the MI area, only to be topped out by Mid-Ohio. We also go to Gingerman Raceway and Waterford Hills. Grattan has a great mix of corners and straights and no two corners are the same. It's got some fast blind entry, slow hairpin, banked, and off-camber turns. At the end of the straight, I am nearing the top of 5th gear (3.73 gears + 275/35/18 tires) which calculates out to 130-ish MPH before grabbing the brakes.

Yes, that video was shot using a GoPro. I have placed mounts on the front and rear bumper, as well as one on the inside of the windshield. The video from the front bumper was using the sealed case, and the one from the rear bumper was using the case with the open back to get more sound.
