Again, the rear end design/treatment is the one thing Ford has to get right on the next Mustang. Everything about the 2010 is appealing - except for that obvious mistake.

Exactly. I was in the market late last year and after seeing the '10, the rear end issue is what sealed the deal for me. If the rear end looked more like a traditional Mustang, I probably would have gone with a '10.

But, I love my CS and the price couldn't have been beat!!

The key word in this post is "again".

I didn't like the rear of the '10 either, until I saw it with spoiler delete--much better!

I am sorry to say this,,,, looking at the '10 coming at you it looks great, but driving behind one the rear is just ugly.

I didn't even know the 2010's were out when I went looking for a Mustang at the dealerships. After seeing a 2010 I just thought it was an over all better looking Mustang. At first the black bumper, side skirts and front lower bumper seemed out of place. But after seeing one completley painted, it was needed to break it up.

And looking at a 05-09 the rears just look plain and ugly IMO compaired to a 2010.

How about if we say both rears need some work. 05-09 looks best with a GT500 type rear spoiler as it can be very boring and i feel the '10 GT500 does the new rear the most justice.

Here's my rear end. I don't think it's boring. I think it's so pretty you should kiss it. By the way, I'm one of the 05-09 guys who likes the new rear as well.

i know, i say that mockingly to annoy the complainers/whiners as much as they annoy me.

I like the looks of both rears as well
