Lets forget about 2011 and talk about 2010

I am one of the lucky ones I get a new Mustang GT convertible every year I can tell you the differance between the 2009 and 2010 is night and day Fit and Finish They way it drives Interior I think everything is 10 times better Dont get me wrong I cant wait for 400hp But right now I think this is the best Mustang Ford has ever built

Lovin' every second

In 2010 everyone will be saying "The 2012 mustang will be great!!". It's a never ending cycle. At some point you have to jump in and enjoy things.

I am very happy that you like yours, but I will still be waiting for the 2011, not only because of the new engines available but because my finances will also be in order by then.

I think that's probably true for a lot of people (including myself). I'm waiting to see the actual coyote engines in a production GT, otherwise I already love the new '10 work and am ready to go.

I'm sure others are thinking this but not saying... but, why in God's green earth would you buy a new car every year? If I had just the amount of money you lose from buying/trading each year I wouldn't be getting a second job.

When i first saw pictures of the rear-end of the 2010's, i didn't like it. The more i looked at it, the more i started to like it. After seeing the 10's in person, it's a beautiful Mustang from the front all the way to the rear. A perfect car. The last Mustang i owned was a new 1986. I'm really excitied, waiting for my next Mustang.

Love the 2010, it is a fabulous improvement over 2005-2009 models. I'll be happy with it untill something really different comes along ,not just horsepower .We can always find more of that in the aftermarket .

I agree. Horsepower can always be increased, and no matter what someone else will always be faster. Shoot, I would have a '10 now if I had the moolah at the time

I absolutely agree. Cars are continually improving but you have to go with what you enjoy and then enjoy it while you have it. The next year will almost always be better but at some point you have to go for it and enjoy it for what it is. Whose to say I will even be here to enjoy an '11? I don't regret my '10 for one second.

My thoughts exactly. I am in a position to buy a '10 now. Who knows if I will be in a year or two. I am also leery of buying a car with a new engine in its first year or two of production.

Not me, I have total faith and confidence that Ford will hit a homer with the 5.0. We've already heard about them keeping up with the M3 on the track and thats before we throw a tune at it. I don't anticipate any reliability issues at all. If anything, it'll be 4.6L reliability scaled up. I'm sure they learned certain things through the 4.6 years which will be incorporated in Coyote.

Don't count on Ford learning anything over the years. See spark plug issues on the 4.6L.

I have an '06 and have no intentions of ever getting rid of it. This is my dream car, and I have it just the way I want it, sans performance parts (money is tight for that right now). There was a time in my life that I always was wanting a new car every 5 years, but for the first time ever, I'm very happy with my '06 GT and my '02 VW Passat (DD).

Now that's not to say I won't get rid of the VW in a few years ;-)

Hmm. Aside from the nicer materials on the interior, I noticed very little if any difference.

I'm really looking forward to the release of the new 5.0. Hoping the block is based on the 5.0 Ford Racing block, and provides the same bore/stroke potential.

I think this engine will find it's way into quite a few 05-09 S197's as they become available. That said, the 3V 4.6 is still a sweet little engine.
