Hey guys,

Ford just posted an update of their paint balanceout replacement plan and it looks like they have enough Kona Blue to last till December. Also, Sonic Blue is now gone as a replacement color. Looking at the other cars using Kona Blue, they have all balanced out so maybe Ford decided to spend the rest of Kona on the Mustang since it was so popular. I myself was really looking forward to Sonic Blue so maybe we'll get in 2013. Ah well, just FYI!

Though it may be that there is no replacement for Kona...
If Sonic is already in the order banks now, then perhaps it can't be considered a "replacement" for anything.

 

Or maybe they'll just cancel all of the Sonic orders... :-P

but maybe there is a hope since they predict it to run out december and there is no plan to replace it......yet

 

I have a relative who works at Ford and will see if I can find out when/if Sonic Blue is coming to the 'Stang. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

 

Ironically, Sonic Blue was the original catalyst for me trading/selling my PW '11 vert for a 2012 coupe (that and the need for an automatic). Glad I switched at the last minute to Grabber Blue.
