Just got my Boss steering wheel!

Here's a pic of part of the wheel, how does this piece fit in? I'm tired after a long journey back home and my head hurts, can anyone tell me how it fits in. The other side is in perfect so I don't want to mess with it.

Thanks!

I just got my Boss Wheel also .... All of the buttons where already installed. I did have to swap out the radio conrol side with my original wheel to get the sync controls. Why did you remove the Cruise control buttons? I just disconnected the wire harness on the button cluster, popped out the buttons and snapped them back in.

When I opened the box the cruise controls side was popped out... Perhaps during shipping it came out. I don't want to damage it, wondering if I took it to Ford they would pop it in for me. lol

Yup ... Tousley is the place ... I suggest you BUY ONE QUICKLY if you plan on doing it. Ford definitely has a pricing mistake on them. Ford is actually selling the Boss Alcantara wheels for $50 LESS than the Base Model Plastic Steering Wheel. I assume once Ford figures out the mistake the price will go up significantly.

I called a local Ford parts dept and they wanted $270 and said it was on "extreme back-order"

The Premium Leather Wheel retails for $499 and wholesales for $399.

The Base Wheel retails for $236 and wholesales for $189.

Tousley charged me $142 for the Boss Wheel. That is quite the bargain.

Mine was on backorder for 1 month ... I just got it this past Monday. When I talked to Tousley they had ordered several of them ... not sure if they were all for customers or not.

Do you happen to know how to pop in the cruise control side properly?

I had a large Nylon scraper that I used for applying my stripes. I slid it in between the steering wheel and the silver trim on the spoke and pried up. While I pried up the buttons popped out.

To put it back I just lined it up and pressed it in .. click.
