Well I had a change of plans concerning the stang. I was going to keep her N/A, but I've changed my mind. I just ordered a VMP gen 2 stage 3 supercharger from Jay@hypermotive with an 82mm pulley and upgraded 127mm JLT carbon fiber CAI. I also ordered TSS oil pump gears and DSS drive shaft. I'll be doing the install myself in my garage. Jay said it will be a 3-4 week wait because they're waiting on the lower intake to be made. I'm so freakin stoked!

Congratulations! You won't regret not staying N/A... My Whipple's been installed for a few months now (also ordered through Jay@Hypermotive), and every time I drive it I can't wipe the smile off my face.

I have the 2014 GT, I put Kooks Headers, Airaid CAI, 3.73 Gears, SCT 3015 Tune, 85mm intake, and Rousch axle backs. I Love it and have no complaints thus far. With stock tires and rims I ran a 12.8 1/4 mile.
I know there is a lot of opinion out there regarding super chargers, my question is this:
Would adding a super charger cause any problems after a couple of years?
My reliable friends are telling me not to do it, because the GT is not built for it and in the future my transmission and other components may suffer from the added power.
Also, not that is a concern, but will fuel consumption be noticeably different?
Thanks...

Thanks man. I do have one question. Where can I get a timing cover that's already had the bosses ground down? Do the 2013-14 stangs have this?

If the blower is properly installed and properly tuned, your engine will be fine. Start pushing 650HP through it and you're going to begin experiencing engine issues far sooner than you otherwise would. Should be able to push 500+ without damage, provided you don't run it wide open every time you accelerate. Just be smart about it, learn as much as you can.

I'm not worried about the longevity of having a supercharger on a stock engine. As long as you're not too aggressive and have a good tune, it should last quite a while. Also some of the Roush mustangs come with almost the same blower and they last too.

You and Supersnake04 are a$$holes! for me! I want an intercooled Kenne Bell in the worst way but that $7k would more than finish the shop space I added on to the garage last winter.
I went to the Trans Am races up at BIR last weekend...God I wish I had real money!
