I didn't get a spare tire when I bought my 2011 either. When I called and said I think they forgot one the salesman said oh you have special tires they don't go flat so it doesn't come with a spare. My brother inlaw is a mechanic an said there are tires that don't go flat but they are usually on really high end cars. So I don't know

I did rode over a large nail and like a week later the sensor came on saying tire low but it really never went flat or even looked low.

No Mustang available comes with run-flat tires. Your dealer is full of BS.

There have been posts on other boards that details certain rims and tire combos that will fit in the tire well with only about an inch of raised trunk mat. If interested, I could find it and post...Itoo feel better with a spare. If you blow out or rip a sidewall, the tire kit is of no help. The tow truck is your only option so it's a spare for me when I leave town..

Thats what my brother in law said. It sucks if he lied because I would like to purchase what I need if I do get a flat but by lieing to me prevents me from getting what I'll need

Do you have the air compressor kit attached where the spare tire would be?

Found in the owners manual........it even shows a picture of what it looks like.

TEMPORARY MOBILITY KIT (IF EQUIPPED)
Your vehicle may be equipped with a temporary mobility kit (located in
the spare tire well in the trunk). The temporary mobility kit consists of
an air compressor to reinflate the tire and a sealing compound in a
canister that will effectively seal most punctures caused by nails or
similar objects. This kit will provide a temporary seal allowing you to
drive your vehicle up to 120 miles (200 km) at a maximum speed of
50 mph (80 km/h).
Note: The temporary mobility kit sealant compound in the canister is to
be used for one tire only. See your Ford authorized dealer for additional
replacement sealant canisters.

Inflation kit is no good if you shred a tire or get a tire blow out. Got to have a spare. Lot of night time driving. Do not wish to wait on a tow truck for who knows how long.

I just bought a 2005–2009 jack kit and a 2011 spare from the same seller on ebay. The jack kit came with the jack, lug wrench, a cloth bag that goes around the lug wrench, instructions and a hook screw to hold everything down. The spare came with a tire and wheel. The spare was $99 and the jack was $75 and appear to be unused.
