Installed Shelby Quad Exhaust need some advice

I installed the 2013 quad exhaust on my gt mustang and I was hoping for a little deeper sound. It definitely sounds better than stock, but it has a little popping sound that I really don't care much for. I was wondering if adding a h-pipe or the boss quad exhaust setup or removing resonators would help? Any advice to make my exhaust more deeper tone and take out the pop/raspy sounds?

Thanks

An h pipe will give u the deep sound and probably help with the raspy sound. I switched my x to an h pipe for that reason. It sounds a lot beefier now with no rasp tho.

Unless you changed your avatar, I don't think I've seen you on here much. Just saying "hey" from across town...

Unless you changed it already, you already have an h-pipe. Maybe you're asking about an O/R H-pipe? I'm sure a Boss H-pipe with side exhausts (with restrictor plates removed) would be an improvement, but I just don't know what it would sound like with the 2013 GT500 muffs. As you know, I have a Boss h-pipe with Magnaflow Axle-backs (Street Series) and it sounds awesome..very deep!

Yea I knew I had one I didn't know if I got a better one or invested into a boss side exhaust if that will help with having a deeper tone and cut some of the pop out. I would like to keep cats since we have emissions here and don't want to go through with that process every year of changing them out.

My Boss gives me lots of pop on engine braking with side pipes completely open. I like it, actually, but I also added some Dynomax Race bullets.

I go to NCTC and I still don't see too many 2013's on the roads around here yet, so I'll keep an eye out for you.

popping can't be that bad, and it's common with any open exhaust. louder or boss side pipes will just make it more apparent

Popping will get better. When I first installed my gt500 exhaust it popped like crazy. After 2k miles it barely pop now. I personally like the popping but I know some dont.

Exhaust leak. More then likely at the clamps where you bolted mufflers on. You should be able to see where it's leaking. Loosen mufflers reposition and retighten.

Removing the resonators will help, but it will change the sound.
