I just did a Steeda with their tune and I have to agree....This CAI combined with a tune is a potent combination on this car. IAT's with the air ducting stay pretty close to ambient at cruise as well, Nice numbers..

I think this should put the octane conspiracy theories to rest.

so 25hp at 4000rpm doesn't qualify as much? Btw, at full throttle the only time anything under 4500 rpm matters is in first gear.

Better soundclip of the exhaust now that you changed mufflers, please? Also, no update on Dynomax? I know I keep bugging you...

Dyno max is still delayed. Something else is cooking about my exhaust besides just dynomax, but I cant talk about it yet.

Which Borla kit are you looking for? Based on the screenshots from their 3D modeling software, this kit includes their "Touring" turbo mufflers. The accompanying installation guide, though, shows small, round mufflers, indicating either an S-Type or ATAK kit. I'm not sure...

Ford Racing (Borla) has released an axleback, too. Like Borla, the mufflers appear to be the "Stingers," but the description says "Touring." I'm not sure exactly what's going on.

Wow, Shaun, great results with so little effort. The new 5.0's are quickly gaining momentum. Awesome car you have there.

Just what I've been waiting for! Don't know why they aren't on FRPP's site yet. Can't wait to hear the sound....

ok, thanks for the info shaun. I bet they're quiet so Ford can meet all the emissions/noise pollution laws. Volume doesn't actually really matter to me that much. I actually good live with the volume of the stock setup. But I do want a more free flowing exhaust with a special sound
