...about shift *****. I put a Barton white ball and polished adaptor on my car at the dealership the day I picked my car up. I love the way it looks and feels, but I am not crazy about the weight. The Barton ball is just way too light for me. I'm looking for a heavy white cue ball **** with just a plain shift pattern on it. I'm not looking for anything with a metal finish. Anyone know of such a product?
This is what I have now, I'm looking for something similar with more heft. Something weighted similarly to the stock ****. The Barton ball is lighter.

you might want to consider switching to a billet **** (and please no whining about 'they get hot in the summer and cold in the winter...waaaaaahhhh'), it's only that way for less than a minute when you first start up. UPR makes some nice billet ***** that are reasonably priced.

Unless we're talking bowling *****, I can't see the weight of the actual **** to have much of an impact. The positive engagement feel will be as a result of the shifter linkage underneath, not the ball on top.
For what it's worth, I have a Hurst in my '05 and it's a nice positive action. Firmer, more precise than stock.

Your inability to be helpful is remarkable.
https://themustangsource.com/f803/mg...talled-515885/ Yup, weighted ***** do nothing to change the feel of a shifter. I have no idea what I'm talking about and it's all in my head.
I assume you mean you actually want the shifter throw or shifter action to feel heavier, not the actual ****?

I've never used it but read some reviews that seemed good when I was in the market for a shift ****. The price seems excessive to me but I'm a poor teacher. It might be what you're looking for.

I can understand the feel of the heavier ****. Sometimes if something feels too light, it doesn't feel right or it can feel cheap. It needs to feel like it has some substance to it. I'm like that with cell phones. People want lightweight ones, but I like a heavier one that feels solid and not plasticy.
I still have the **** I got back in 2008 from grabber pony. It seems they no longer exist but from what I see the speeddawg site mentioned abouve bought them out. The **** I got there feels pretty solid. Putting it on my postal scale, it weight 4.3 ounces. If they are the same, then speeddawg should be the way to go!
