I'm Done I think ?

The only thing I'm thinking of next is the OEM Hood Scoop Satin Black, I know its just cosmetic but I think it would look sick on the car ? Anyways here are a few pics after putting on the 3DCarbon Spoiler. Would I recommend it yes, its a lot cheaper then the factory pc unless you have the money to spend.

no, no hood scoop. I would get a boss LS splitter and lower it, then it will look tight

Imagine that, something we agree on.

It's personal preference of course, but I've never seen the point of paying money for something that doesn't do anything but LOOKS like it does. The only contribution a faux hood scoop makes to a car aside from appearance is to create drag. No, not much, but again...personal preference. To some guys, looks are just as important as performance, and if you like the way it looks, go for it.

Love the hood scoop on mine even if it is non-functional. It was OEM and not necessarily on the top of my list exactly - but it was on the car with a lot of options I wanted so i thought why not. I came to the conclusion that I probably would have ended up adding it after the fact and its nice to have an OEM install.

Reminds me a lot of the 01-04 GT nonfunctional hood scoop too. Makes my car stand out differently than others.

I agree. The car looks great as is. No scoop. Splitter and some BMR springs would complete it.

I like the stripe! Definitely splitter like others have said, but I think the hood scoop will look pretty good. It would look really cool if it was black with black hood spears

Definitely needs to be lowered! And paint your calipers black - they won't stand out as much...

I think it looks great, never seen the fender stripes like that and yes a scoop would look great.

There seems to be a lot of scoop dislikers on the forum, but the fact is there have been non functional scoops on stangs since the 60's. Make it look more aggressive IMO.

Two things: a person expressing a preference for something other than a fake hood scoop doesn't mean they hate it. A little perspective, please. Secondly, I don't care if every single car ever made had a fake hood scoop, that isn't a reason for people who prefer performance over looks to stick a piece of plastic on their hoods.

First, I apologize if I hurt your feelings, I edited out the hater part. Wasn't saying it was a reason for you to do it, just stating my opinion.

Second, the small amount of drag scoops create makes minimal (if any) difference on the performance of a 5.0.

Don't do the hood scoop

I think it looks like ****, it is big and bulbous and it looks terrible on the car. The stock hood looks 10 million times better without and the scoop just ruins the looks of the hood.

If you're putting 302 decals take the 5.0 badge off. Seems redundant and looks cluttered IMO.

I know I was giving my opinion on this particular car. I dont hate hood scoops, I just like to picture the overall look of the car and go from there. based on the direction hes headed I think a hood scoop would be too much. Honestly sometimes simpler is better, but it is his car and his choice. We are all just trying to help a little

Agreed. The only wrong thing to do is to take Anyones advice over what you like. Cars are like women, every guy likes something different....

Thats the same thing i was thinking so what I'm going to do is order some of the GT badges from the 2010 and replace the 5.0 with them, should look good also don't feel like trying to fill the holes.

The problem with Ford's add on scoop is that it leaves very noticeable gap between the surface of hood and the scoop itself. This make it look like it came directly from your local PepBoys store. This is my biggest gripe with the add on hood scoop and the main reason I didn't buy one when I ordered my car. The Shaker hood scoop looks much better in my opinion but it is more expensive.
