I think I may be back in a mustang at some point in 2015
I saw my previous horsie-car a few weeks ago...I was told that somebody purchased it for their high school kid, and sure enough, high school parking pass hanging from the rear view mirror...The Shelby lookalike grill and foglamps made me think it might be my old car, the keypad on the wiper cowl and the leather arm rest cover gave it away, there she be...my old Mustang.
New owner added a short throw shifter with a white plastic pony tribar logo shifter ****, and the wheels where either painted or plasti-dipped black...along with the emblems...the passenger side rear tire has a gouge in the side wall, and I am surprised it will still hold air. I saw absolutely no damage to the car, and it looks like it is well loved, aside from the wheels, but I don't like black wheels for the most part...

Don't get me wrong, I really like my new F150, I bought it a little over a year ago, but it's just not really all that fun. 2015 looks like fun, but to get one the way I would want it would be 40 grand, and the way I look at it, at this point, well, I have owned two mustangs, one was a 2004 competition orange V6 with everything but leather. Nice car, but was always a huge let down, because it was a V6. My 2013 was actually a huge let down in every way...really nice car, yes, but what it comes down to, is that I want a fully loaded GT (or a Shelby)
Here's the truck

My truck was the First anything anywhere to have 2015 Mustang 5.0 emblems
So with that in mind, I will probably look at getting a slightly used 2011-2014 with a strong preference on a 2013-2014

Well youre saying you dont have 40k to spend on a mustang but that truck looks like it probably went for 40k when you bought it. Mind you prices here in Canada are high, especially for trucks so i may be wrong. Never buy a mustang that is a v6, i made that mistake because i couldnt afford it a few years ago, now i can and i made the switch and man am i glad i did. If youre going to trade, make sure you get a 5.0, and have it spec'd out just how you like, anything else would just be cheating yourself.

It feels good to be back!
I went to the drag strip a couple months ago, and the bug bit me hard...started thinking about how often I used my truck as a truck, realized it was never....decided to go for the big bad premium GT 5.0...the car is a 6R80 Automatic...I wasn't happy with the MT82 in my 2013 Mustang, and sometimes, with knee and hip and ankle issues, shifting gears is not fun at all. I think I will really like this one. This car has 3.15 gears, which I thought would be slow, but ya know, it accelerates just fine as far as I'm concerned. In the photos, The car is very dirty from a 500 mile dealer trade journey...this car came from Ada Oklahoma...New 2014 Mustang GT is getting somewhat scarce, I sat with the sales manager at work yesterday, we called on 20 different cars, and every single one was unattainable, most dealers would not trade for anything but a 2015 Mustang...so it was either this one or a white one...I decided on speeding ticket red
It has since been detailed, and looks great, but it's dark outside, so, better photos later...
I placed the keypad there, because I really don't like the look of the stick on keypad against the paint, and they no longer come with a paint to match bezel. The texture of the plastic housing on the accessory keypad matches the texture of the wiper cowl pretty well.
NO mod on anything I have ever owned has brought more questions or comments than when I did that, and honestly, I know it seems weird, but it's a great place to mount the keypad. I have seen people on this website mount them on the inside of the fuel door, I have seen them on the bottom of the mirror housing as well.
