I'm originally from Buffalo, NY myself (born and raised) and I can honestly say with a clear conscience that neither myself, nor those in which I grew up with. Never used the term "gangster" or "gangsta hot" in any type of conversation either. But then again, this was long before the "hip hop" generation ever existed to begin with. Therefore, IMHO. YaoNYC, is either from the "hip hop" generation, or is just a wanabie.

I was born and grew up for the first nine years of my life in Dunkirk, NY (about 60 miles south / southwest of Buffalo); my family lives there, too. Like you guys, I think this is the first time I've ever heard the phrase "gangster hot." I'm just 27, though. Maybe I haven't been around long enough. ha ha

Either that, or you've been around longer than you think.
Yo Yao, -
-yo,yo! I'm too old to talk like I got a load in my pants
so I'll leave that street talk alone
I'm curious though, we followed your thread about your 'stang and the mods you were having done. Where did you leave off or did you finish and enjoy it before you sold it? I've heard parking fees in NYC are murder, in some cases as much as some folk pay in rent! got to be too much, eh?

After viewing this thread: I predict a future 2010 Mustang GT with a trunk full of 12v batteries and 10K worth of hydraulics with 22" rims and a gold pony necklace hanging from the rear view mirror.
Now thats "gangsta bling hot!"

Now thats "gangsta bling hot!"
