I Finally Ordered My 2011 V6 Premium + PP
Today I ordered my first Mustang and American car ever.
2011 Mustang V6 Coupe Premium + MCA Package
- V6 Performance Package
- HID
- Electronics Package
- Security Package
- Comfort Package
- Rear View Camera
- Tape Stripe Delete
- Rear Decklid Trim Panel (need to order separately, couldn't find the option in the system )
- Sterling Gray with Black Interior
Total with X-Plan 31,229.25 not including the rear decklid panel, taxes and $125 doc/title/registration/prep fee.
Notes:
- The MSRP price for the Performance Package was $1495 ($1301 invoice) instead of $1995 like I read everywhere. Wonder if this is because I also order the MCA package which also comes with its own set of wheels.
- The Performance Package says Body Color Mirror in the discription . I hope that is true because the job#2 Price List Sheet that I saw says gloss back mirror covers.
I'm very glad that finally I was able to order the car and the price came out a little lower than expected. Now the waiting game begins...

My son ordered a similar one this past Saturday. 2011 V6 Premium w/MCA package, Automatic, Nav, & Comfort Group. Black w/charcoal interior. The dealer said that V6 Mustangs are running 4-6 weeks, but since the MCA package gets done at Steeda it will take longer.

Congrats op that is one loaded V6 bro interesting tidbit about the perf package pricing did your dealer by any chance explain that the lower price was because you allready ordered an additional package that upsized the wheels? I'm just curious because the PP is available on a otherwise base car and if its only $1495 actual retail that is the STEAL of the century for the money for whats included and is really going to make me regret not waiting 4 more *****ng weeks to order one for myself

Re: the rear decklid panel, the MCA package already comes with the black fill-in that STAYS even if you get the TSD option. The panel would just be a piece of plastic you put over that. Kind of redundant.
SOURCE?!?!? That's the first I've heard of that.

Nicely equipped, same as mine without the Performanc Package. It was not available in April. I hope I can live with the car without that option and be happy. I will know in a couple of days.

Personally, I don't see how the V6PP would be $1995 ANYway. The Brembo Package on the GT is around $1500 too, but it includes the 14", 4-piston GT500 Brembos, wider wheels, etc. The V6PP just has the GT/CS wheels with a black finish and the same tires. We keep hearing different things about the brakes, but we won't know until one of us actually pulls off the front wheels and compares them to a 2011 GT and standard V6. Yes, there are suspension and AdvanceTrac changes too, but I still dont see why/how the V6PP would cost more than the Brembo Pkg.

I mean its way worth the money at $1995 retail as you couldn't hope to buy the same parts aftermarket for the same or less cost nevermind installation fees and like I said is a killer deal/steal at $1495 especially on a non premium car they haven't rapped you for the privelage of leather&sync on
All that being said I wish it came with more hp even if it was say just a drop in K&N different mufflers like the bullitts and a slightly more aggressive factory tune for say 10-20 more hp to make it a true perf pack instead of a more appearance/handling pack. I foresee this next year or the year after allthough I may be wrong and next year or I'll bet money that come redesign time direct injection and at least a 30hp bump for the 2015s is added. But I see something perf wise from the factory either direct order or a perf pack type deal where you can squeeze more out of the 3.7 most likely through a filter element dif mufflers and retune for 93 octane

True, I did leave a few things out. But the Brembo Pkg on the GT also includes different springs, LCAs, the STB, etc. And the same tires. Honestly, I think I went about my statement the wrong way. I think the V6PP should be priced at $1495 and the Brembo Pkg should be priced at $1995.

^ I think they should both be $995 on any premium edition of either model $1495 on all other trim levels and then everyone and their brother would buy em thereby making ford more money
I thought the brembo option was pretty much just the brakes&wheels/tires over a stock gt can you provide a link to the other stuff for me? i'm just curious thanks
