i bet you didn't know panhard (rear tension bar) had bb's in it

this seems silly, but I'm sure there is a purpose to it, like the bee bees compact themselves during tension or something like that?

It must be a low NVH way of keeping the thing from collapsing. I wonder if any of the aftermarket parts take a similar approach

I heard them in there when I took mine off and wondered what it was. I just thought they used a steel diggery-do when they were short of stock panhard bars!

thats what I was actually thinking last night. They absorb and isolate the harshness transmitted from the road.
