"Hypothetical" Question
Seeing that 2010 has somewhat of the 69/70 "hip", What would you guys/gals think of 1969 style chiseled upper rear fender and of course there would be an affixed scoop added for the Shelbys?
Coincidentally 1970 is 40 years after the last GT 350 was made!
We've had the 64-68 style scallop in some form or another since 1994

to be honest I'm split on it I think I would prefer it to not exist but if it did I most certainly would dish out the big bucks for a custom fab that made it functional just to satisfy myself

No, The new car better have the lower side scallop like the current car. The 69-70 was really cool looking but lost some mustang when it didn't have it.

Naw, the side scoops on the '69 looked a bit tacked on, which they were. I'm pretty much against cheap make-believe stylistic artifices to start and those were kind of pointless and gratuitous really, just what were they pretending to scoop air to anyway? The '69-'70 Stang had such a wonderful fender development that the scoop only served as a distraction, not an enhancement.
As for the side scallop, I do think that has become iconic to the Mustang and ought to remain in some form.

Kinda seems as if thats the real deal but someone changed it a bit in photoshop just to make it look like a drawling or a photoshop so no one would get in trouble... Looks pretty cool to me id buy one

Yep, when I first saw that spy shot, that's what I though might be under the camo.
To be honest, I perfered the '70 look, with just a sexy hip and no vent. As mentioned above, it'd probably look odd with the C scoop too.

Perhaps it looked good on the 69, but I don't think it would look right on the 2010. Mostly because of the higher waisted hip line. IMO this would produce a visual appearance of looking too butt heavy !
