love blip's drawing however would eliminate the scoop and switch to the HID headlamps, the HIDs look meaner on versions with no fogs in the grill

Thanks for the comments--as others have posted about the original GT 350, my thought was to keep the bodywork
simple by using exisiting Ford (302R-GT/CS) body parts, (but with a "Shelby" style paint scheme),
and focus on the hidden stuff where the spirit of the original is found with driveline, suspensions and brake upgrades.

I see the problem they must have had making this car though...they couldn't really go the stripped down race car path because that would overlap with the new Boss 302R, and they couldn't just do the same thing as the GT500 with a more plush and powerful character, so they went somewhere in the middle and the result seems to be that it has no real standout character or purpose.

As a result they had to distinguish it from other models through the visuals...and boy did they take that idea and run with it! Eeeeesh...
