HOW-TO: Mounting brackets to 11-12 GT Front Bumper for OEM 13-14 HID Headlight Conver

Hello Mustang Nation. Thought the information could come handy for people planning to upgrade 11-12 headlights to 13-14 HIDs, or in reverse 13-14 owners planning to swap to 11-12 front fascias. Asking everyone who did these conversions as the only sticking issue to accomplish these 2 goals seems to be the OEM 13-14 HID headlight part not including an extension part that 11-12 headlights have, to mount the 11-12 GT front bumper. All other parts between 11-12 and 13-14 mustangs look to be interchangeable.

Can you share your experiences and solutions to the issue of the OEM 13-14 HIDs not having the extension bracket to mount the 11-12 GT front bumper? I've shared an old image below showing a custom made bracket as an example for a solution for what I could find on the forums, but was wondering if there were other ready-made solutions created over the years?

I also see several people updating to these OEM HID headlights and leaving the mounting section open without any bracket or support, is the bumper stable enough without being mounted on the headlamps or tied to anywhere? Appreciate to hear your experiences on how to tackle this roadblock safely. Thank you,
