How many of you are going to be buying a 2011 GT Vert?

I thought I had my mind made up and was going to get the GT with the glass roof but now I am really wanting to order a vert. I miss my 01 cobra vert that I drove for 3 years and since I work from home my daily commutes are few and far between. My current DD I have only put 17k miles on it in the last 2.5years.

I saw the road and track review in the race red vert with the brembo package along with the black interior and nav and that is the exact car I would get. I must say the vert in that color with black looks amazing!!

So who and how many of you all will be buying a vert?

ill prob wind up getting a base black cloth seat convertible if i get a 11. to me the premium is just not worth it. plus for me it will be more than i want to spend. could i? probably but im just not used to throwning 35k+ (OTD) on a car.

I also like Race Red and have a Premium GT vert ordered in that color. I'm getting the Brick Red interior.
I'm an old fart, but have absolutely loved convertibles since I bought my 2 year old '57 Vette vert (gives you a hint just how old I am).

Very nice!! I might end up leaning towards Black with the brick red interior in a vert. Black and Red are my favorite 2 colors for cars!!

My Red Candy GT vert is scheduled to built this week and the window sticker just became available this weekend. I've got the American Racing rims standing by and I've already had a four post lift installed in my garage to make room for it. All I need is the car. This is my first convertible and I've been wearing a perma-grin for the last two months.

Cloth top, boot cover, camera and........ok, don't laugh; I feel bad enough about it......automatic tranny so my wife can drive it too. In a couple of years she wants to get a Nissan 370Z convertible automatic (which is, by the way, far, far worse than a Mustang with an auto, but that's her call). When that happens, I'll get a new GT vert with a manual tranny. That was the deal.

no vert for me...too hot and sticky here in Oklahoma. Not to mention all the freaking red clay dust that's in the air...but I will be ordering the Glass Roof...for those that get the vert...enjoy the sunshine

Don't feel bad. If I got a convertible, it'd be an automatic, but I'd most likely keep my MT 5.0. For me the convertible is about a relaxing driving experience, with minimal effort. Hence why I'm very envious of my father's Merc-Benz E320 Cabriolet. Just drives like silk, and on a day like we had today, I just have to steal the car for an hour or so at least.

I'll subscribe to that theory just to keep me out of therapy for having an AT.

Can you order a Convertible with Brembo Brake Package?
Also, can you order it with the 3.73 Ratio Gear on a Manual Transmission?

I don't think you can get a 3.73 on an Automatic Transmission, Right? What's the lowest gear you can get on an Auto Transmission 2011 5.0? Anyone know?

Order guide says you can get Brembos on 'verts but no optional rear gears.

Automatics only get 3.15:1 gears. First gear is pretty low in the tranny to make up for it.

Oh, just saw you made another post with these questions. Answers are there too!

I ordered a grabber blue vert auto, i like the contrast of the blue and black. Same would be for the red. (The coupes say me nothing cause i'm missing this contrast)

If I had the money, you better believe that I would already have a 2011 GT/CS vert on order!
