how many rattles does your Stang have?

I've had a dash rattle since almost day 1. I thought that I had fixed it but only helped it some. If I press down or lift up on the piece between the speedometer and tach it stops. I have a few ideas for a fix. Just wondering who else has aggravating rattles.

None. Why not take it to the dealership?

I've had an occasional veryyyyyy light rattle from the panel piece just above the glovebox for about a year. If I pushed it in on the left hand side it would stop. Nobody else has ever noticed it or really heard it even after I pointed it out. I have very sensitive hearing, but I haven't thought about it in the last three months so it can't be that bad. I get distracted by the fun factor of the car.

I guess I am lucky, 22,000 miles - and with the Brembo package which is stiffer, and not a single rattle yet. My 2007 Shelby GT500 had a dash rattle from day one!

^ Exact same thing. only does it when it's cold though. I keep meaning to pull the bezel off and put some felt tape behind it like they have on all the other pieces but since it only happens in the morning when it's cold I always forget about it till the next time it happens..

No rattles for me.

Expanding spray foam usually does the trick. You'll have to crawl under the dash and see if it's viable.

Yea, it only does it when it's cold. Epoxy on the bezels helped but didn't fix. Still another source in the same spot.

The button on the e-brake rattles when accelerating hard, but only in the lower rpms till about 4th gear. I can only hear it when the windows are up and I didn't notice it until shortly after the Roush axel backs went on. I think it's the spring inside the button, but have no clue on what to fix it with.

Because the dealer will be " unable to replicate the problem ". I don't have the patience for the dealer's apathetic concern for customers. I admittedly don't do well with those types of situations/ people causing a worse scenario that began as a simple dash rattle. I'd rather have teeth pulled than deal with car dealer sales and service.

Zero @ 1-1/2 months and 1000 miles on the 2012 coupe. At the time I sold the 2011 GT 'vert at 8600 miles and 1 year old, it also had no rattles.
