Bought my 14 GT in August of 2013 with 38 miles on it. It now has about 11,600 miles on it. I don't drive it in bad weather so it sits a lot during the winter but I drive it quite a bit during the rest of the year. I have also taken two long vacation trips in it.

Just rolled over 40k on my 12, there are days where I wish I was at like 15-20k. But it's a car, can't take it with you

Ordered my 2014 GT on 4/17/14 (significant date), picked it up 7/5/14, just about to roll over 13k miles, when this happened...

I daily my car, rain or shine, but still "kept it clean" with my arsenal of Griot's, Pinnacle and Chemical Guys stuff. who knows when I'll get it back, but I can't wait to see what my insurance rates are going to look like after it's all said and done. Have a separate claim in for diminished value too

Been on here and there. Took a break (on my own) from TMS for a bit. Kinda got tired of the usual suspects bickering non stop and arguing just to argue. I'm still around, just don't post as much. And then this happened

Minor scuffs on both. Body shop thinks they'll buff out, so they're going to charge the insurance for 2 recons just in case. If not needed, they'll allow me to put that towards...other stuff

2014 gt track pack (jan 2013 build) she's at about 22,400 mi. Stock drivetrain, No mechanical issues, has a slight tick from time to time, but I think that is just what these coyotes do. Driver side window stops about a 1/4in before fully down. I will probably take it in for that some time. Very happy with this car!

2 reconditioned Niche wheels?!?!?!?! ugh. Ask for new replacements. A good insurance company should be providing, but that is only IF you actually notified them that you have aftermarket wheels (before the accident). That's how mine is set up. All my aftermarket parts are covered, for the most part. The big $$$ items.

They would replace them if I want, but it's not really needed. There was hardly a mark on them, just a really minor scuff. My body shop said they'd attempt to buff it out, and if it didn't come out, they'd replace them. If the scuffs buff out, they'll cash me out on the cost of "reconditioning" which basically means stripping the coating and a completely new finish. We'll see what happens, the wheels are the least of my concerns. Those are my "winter" wheels anyway.

True true. Ok. If they give you new ones, do you keep the damaged ones? Then sell for cheap, more mod money . Or better yet, buy-a-beater money lol

I'd assume so...they're not structurally damaged, so I don't see why the body shop would keep them. Btw, I'm probably going to get the Cervini's Stalker hood. Comparing pics with the Tru Fiber version at the moment (I had one of their first hoods on my '00 V6 and it was an utter pos, but I've read their quality has gone way up since)...I've seen some pics of the Cervini's having alignment issues with the headlights and fenders, but I'm not sure if that's crappy install and prep or crappy hood to begin with. They're both fiberglass, so you can't really do anything to fix it if they're not perfect.

They're keeping it because they're going to sell it too lol.

And yes, another good might be in my future too.
