I am conducting a little research of my own. For those that own a 2010-2011 now, how long (as in years) have you owned a mustang of any year for? Also if you could list what stangs you own or have owned that would be great. If this one is your first that's great as well.

 

Had a '98 V6 bought used with 140k+ miles. Owned that one for about two and half years.

Took delivery of this one (V6 PP) on 10/24, So around six months.

 

99 V6 Vert- owned for 2 years
01 SC Saleen- Owned 5 Years
2010 GT Premium- Owned 1 year
2011 GT/CS- Owned for about 3 months now

 

Cool keep em coming. I have had:
90 gt 6 years (totaled by a school teacher running a red light)
91 notch 5 years (sold)
93 lx 3 years (stolen)
95 gt 6 years(sold)
11 gt since June

 

2002 V6 Auto from 2002-Present
2003 GT 5spd from 2003-2006
And of course the 2011 from September '10-Present

 

My first car when I was 16 was a Mustang. Here's my little collection of ponies of the years.....

'75 Mach 1, owned from 1982-1988 (sold to a friend).
'88 LX Hatchback, owned from 1988-1989 (traded in for the '89 below).
'89 LX 5.0L Sport Hatchback, owned from 1989-1994 (totalled in a bad wreck).
'00 GT "Spring Feature" Coupe, owned from 2000-2003 (traded for the '03 below).
'03 Mach 1, owned from 2003-2006 (sold to a friend).
'07 GT Coupe, Vortech supercharged, owned from 2006-2011 (traded for the '11 below).
'11 GT 5.0L Brembo Coupe, owned for 3 months so far.

 

I've had mustangs for the better part of 10 years now.

First new car I purchased was a 2002 GT. Next came a 2003 10th anniversary Cobra which I got rid of to buy a house. I picked up a used 99 Cobra after that which turned into a couple corvettes. A c6 and a c6 z06. After the nostalgia of the vettes wore off and I was left with massive payments I got out of that game. I moved to a 2008 GT/CS which most recently turned in to a 2011 GT.

 

I had a 90 LX Coupe in 97 for about 2 yrs.
I then bought a 95 Vert GT on 8/2/03.
Drove it til I found & bought my 11 on 10/4/10.

It is by far my dream car!! It will be hard to find better. We'll just see what Ford puts out.

 

I have had my 2012 GT for not even 24 hours now. It was worth the wait.

 

Here's my list in order -

2 69 coupes, one was a parts car - 2 years project never completed
70 coupe - owned 3 years first car I drove when I got my DL, rear ended and totaled
68 "Sprint promotion B" Coupe - owned 4 years, sold to pay off some bills
70 Mach 1 - owned 5 years, still have it, completely apart for restoration
84 GT convertible - owned 6 months, couldn't get it to pass GA emissions and had to sell it.
70 Mach 1 parts car - owned 2 years, still have it for the parts for the other 70 Mach 1
2011 GT - owned 7 months - daily driver

 

All 5 of my past Mustangs were bought 'new'.
1976 4 clyinder.
1980 4 clylinder, wrecked then bought another
1980 4 cylinder.
1986 V-6.
Did without a Mustang for many years , children and wives.
2011 V-6, children grown and wives gone .

 

On and off for 29 years!

1965 coupe 200 3 speed
1967 fastback 289 K-Code 4 speed should have never sold it
1979 coupe now a full time roadster, still have it
1988 GT Vert 5 speed, just sold it to make room for the LS

 

1999 V6 5 speed - first car got it when I was 16 purchased with 15K I have now had it for almost 10 years and it's up over 120K
