just by looking at other vehical mid-life restyles ( a lot of the Nissans, Mopars) I Think the restyle will be even less than the switch from 98 to 99. Though the basic frame was the same every outer body panel changed I think all we are gonna see is new bumpers, grille, headlights and maybe a different hood. With a major restyle not too far away in 11' or 12' I doubt anything more than that. I have a feeling the roof, doors and even the rear quarters will be pretty much the same. I think the "hips" are gonna come in the next gen car The best example I can think of is the new Altimas and Chargers.you kinda have to squint to see the difference between new and old mostly slight differences and better quality
Yes, like it's Magnum and 300 cousins the Charger received a minor facelift. The bumpers, headlights and interior are slightly changed you almost need to see the 08' next to a 07' to notice the differences.

Originally, the refresh was to take place during the 2009 model year. But when Ford president of the America's (Mark Fields) discovered that GM confirmed it's decision to go forward, with the upcoming 2010 Camaro !
Fields then decided, he wanted more than just a minor facelift, in order to compete head to head, with the upcoming 2009 Challenger, and 2010 Camaro. As a direct result, he pushed back the re-fresh, from 09 through the 2010 model year.
That being said ! why bother pushing the re-fresh behind a full model year, for just a minor cosmetic facelift..
I agree with your comments but the spy shots i have seen suggest a facelift and nothing more. The doors back at this point seen the same as 05'. Web posts confirm nothing. I do hope you are correct though because the 05' stang will seen stale compaired to the new pony cars coming from Dodge and GM

of what...
You don't even know if the spy shots are of engine/cooling testing or a 2009 SE mule...
Every panel except the greenhouse will change on the 2010
as well as a new interior. Believe it.
There are people on this site who have seen it.
