Question HOODSCOOP GT 2011

Anyone to advise about a hood scoop (no drilling) glue only for the hood of a GT 2011?
The factory hood scoop is a bit too big, I would like a smaller version that would still look good.
I have a Ingot Silver GT, wonder if a flat black hood scoop would look good!
Anyone has it, or have seen one?

Thank you

I have been possibly looking at getting a hood scoops for my 'Stang and I have seen nothing worth having that "sticks on" as they all look like JC Whitney garbage that is not in character for the Mustang.

All the decent hood scoops bolt on. If you do not like the large 2010+ factory hood scoop then you can still affix the 05-09 style and it looks decent. There are some 1979-82 and 1999-2004 OE style scoops that look decent as well. There are Roush hood scoops that are popular. Then there is Cervini's Boss 429 style hood scoop that looks surprisingly well on these cars.

Cervini's Boss Style

Mr. Hood Scoop:

2005-2009 Style on a 2010+ hood:

Other Mustang style hood scoops are listed as universal fitting many diffeent Fords with fairly flat hood surfaces:

For myself I am debating a black hood scoop by itself either Boss 429 style or 1999-04 style... Or a Mach 1 stripe with a 05-09 style hood scoop... Or maybe a stripe with no scoop... Too many choices and hard to decide.

I looked for different styles before buying the factory one. After getting it done, I am glad I went with the stock. Never plan on removing it so the bolts are not an issue. The past stick on ones I had always came loose at speed.....

It's all a matter of one's taste. Personally, I'm with Pete above = I think the factory hood scoop is the best. In fact, IMHO I like the looks of the Mustang better with the scoop then without.

I was also looking at a stick on, no drill OEM type hood scoop from American Muscle. Do they come loose easily? Would he be better just to go with the factory one? Thanks!

That really does look good! Good call on the factory scoop. Works really well with that colour.

Now what I think would be really cool is to be able to install the shaker too.
Either make the scoop taller or the shaker shorter. Open the front of the scoop to make it functional and wahla (sp?) you got a nice little set up.

Hmm gets me thinking anyone no the height of the scoop?
