Hoen xenonmatch vs OEM fog light bubls ( pics)
The stock is on the left in both, it's just the exposure change that allows you to see the bulbs better in the second pic and makes them stand out more. The first pic was more exposed for the hood of the car not the bright lights so the lights are "blown out" a bit and it's harder to see the difference.
For sure it was worth the $38 bucks with shipping and 10 minutes of install time.
You guys do know that there's a reason fog lights are yellow, right? It's the color that cuts through fog best, and the reason they're called fog lights.
If you make them white or blue, they don't really work as fog lights any more, as they won't cut through fog any better than your headlights, and their light pattern isn't conducive to vision past about 50 feet... so you've got nice accent lights now.
Now, if you were to swap out the reflector assembly with one that casts a driving light pattern, then they'd be pretty useful at that color.

The fog lights on the GT are up too high to be useful for driving through Fog anyways. They're there for appearance, and I rarely use mine.
I'll usually turn mine on during the day if it's rainy/cloudy and I don't want to turn on my full headlights.
Plus, the fogs look badass.

Now! Somebody needs to make a kit that will turn them into driving light reflectors. They are positioned excellently for that purpose.
Going to put my order in for these and the chrome turn signals tonight, but it appears the HID front turn signals are 3457s, but Hoen doesn't have that listed. Tony, what bulb did you use for the chrome dipped signal?
This post has them along with some more pics.

You can also enter "stangmods" as the coupon code- something like 1%... not much- but still.
It's also free shipping- and I got them pretty fast.
That's cool, and there's nothing wrong with that; I just wanted to make sure you guys aren't expecting them to work as actual fog lights. As long as you know they're pretty much just for appearance, that's all that matters.

They're listed as a 3157, but appear to be the same. Just verifying for future reference.
Just put these in. The cowling gave me a bit of trouble because it didn't want to budge, but I got it off. Getting my fat hands behind the lights was a PITA, but not that hard once I got in there.
The lights definitely look a lot better than the OEM fog lights. Just a more white light which goes with the HIDs. A slight blue tint, but with the lights on, you don't even really notice.
Pictures aren't that great, but you can kind of tell the difference. I need to get some pics where it's not so dark out.
Hoen light on the left. OEM on the right.

After both of the Hoens were in.

Definitely an upgrade that is well worth the money.
