Hit 1000 today!
When I pulled into my garage from a Sunday afternoon joyride, I looked down and saw this. I commute to work by train, so its taken a while, but its definitely been the most fun 1000 miles I've ever driven!

That's right! As Carroll Shelby said, They're made for driving. Enjoy the crap out of them.
Then again, I'll be in the market for another one next year; I'll be looking for one of the garage queen Boss or GT models I read about here.

Yes, you are enjoying the Mustang!
Its the ones that keep then garaged, and take them out to wipe down the dust, and maybe toodle down the street and wave at the neighbors that are really not having the fun these cars are intended for.
I have a neighbor down the street that owns a 2012 Shelby that fits into this catagory. He thinks the car is going to be his 401K retirement fund someday.

I have about 4275...ordered it Aug of 2011 got it in Oct of 11. Haven't even put 1,000 miles on it this year due to work, weather and the fact a lot of the roads around here are having work on them and they are a mess. Since I am beginning my retirement planning and probably won't be getting another "fun" car I hope to get this paid off and keep it until they put me in the ground, so I hope it lasts me a long time.
