Hit 1000 today!

When I pulled into my garage from a Sunday afternoon joyride, I looked down and saw this. I commute to work by train, so its taken a while, but its definitely been the most fun 1000 miles I've ever driven!

Then again, I'll be in the market for another one next year; I'll be looking for one of the garage queen Boss or GT models I read about here.

They keep getting better the more you drive them. And not to worry when the mileage gets high....they will make more.

I here you. I'm planning to break her in and decide what changes I really need/want before getting into the mod game.

Yes, you are enjoying the Mustang!

Its the ones that keep then garaged, and take them out to wipe down the dust, and maybe toodle down the street and wave at the neighbors that are really not having the fun these cars are intended for.

I have a neighbor down the street that owns a 2012 Shelby that fits into this catagory. He thinks the car is going to be his 401K retirement fund someday.

I have about 4275...ordered it Aug of 2011 got it in Oct of 11. Haven't even put 1,000 miles on it this year due to work, weather and the fact a lot of the roads around here are having work on them and they are a mess. Since I am beginning my retirement planning and probably won't be getting another "fun" car I hope to get this paid off and keep it until they put me in the ground, so I hope it lasts me a long time.

One of our Customers was talking about his Roush and how he would just clean my clock, told him to meet on the mountain, he said it was tooooo far to drive his car in case it rained
Why buy it and not enjoy it

Took delivery on the 21st, hit 1K on the 31st and will be near 2K by Sunday when we get home from the Outer Banks.

I won't be keeping up that pace, but it is nice to have my DD broken in already.

I have 2300 miles in almost two years,....considering I tow it to the strip 3 times a week and do 4 passes each night for the last year and half. I'd say I'm enjoying it just fine. What people do with their mustang shouldn't concern you.
