Hips or Shoulders?

This is a very small point, but....are they hips or shoulders on the 2010?
I am led to believe that if they are above the belt line they are technically called shoulders.
It would seem from all the pics I've seen that the 2010 has shoulders and not hips.

to me shoulders would be in the front half the car hips rear half, as the front of the car is the head and the rear is the tail. so standing up it would be anatomically correct.

I too felt shoulders would be the front of the car. But some people say you view the car from top to bottom.
A car has a "belt line" and anything that is above this line are the shoulders and below the line are hips.

I call them hips, and I've even heard some people call them haunches.

Hips? Shoulders? Beltline? Why do we try to turn cars into animate objects?

Call them as you want, as soon as there is some.
