Other than certain plants closing.... but what was needed to be done, was needed to be done.

Now all they need is refreshening/new vehicles to fill the gaps they have....Ranger/Focus etc

But I guess baby steps

Agreed, plants closing is never a good thing, but as you cite it was virtually unavoidable in this instance.
