It is here in my garage, 2012 GT
2012 GT Premium, Lava Red, black interior, MT, security pkg, 3.55 rear. The color is everything I could ask for, in the sun it sparkles with the red flakes and looks like black cherry, in the shade it looks black.. For those waiting for theirs.. Ordered first week of Feb. built April 11th, delivered to dealership in Christiansburg VA April 29th. $500.00 rebate, 750.00 coupon. MSRP 34985, paid $32789 minus the 1250.00 from the rebate and coupon.
Finally after 47 years I got my new Mustang!

What is the $500 dollar discount? And you got 1250 off the the 32k price? I'm hoping my car arrives at the dealer tomorrow as it is only 40 minutes away in a lot right now. This is my first time buying a new car so any info/help would be greatly apprecited. Thanks in advance.

I ordered my lava red car yesterday. I LOVE the color. I told myself that as much as I loved black that I'd never get another black car because of how hard it is to keep clean.
This isn't much better but hey I didn't lie to myself, it's not black... all of the time.

My camera will not do the color justice plus we haven't had any real sun yesterday or today in the PIC the car looks black but Lava red is really like a black cherry color, but the Ford mustang site, ford.com has a provision that you can change the color and then rotate the car, they did a great job showing the color. mtnbikefuel80 the $500.00 is the ford rebate in effect till 5/31
