Have all you 2011 owners read through your owners manual?

Just skimmed through one online.

Some interesting stuff.

One thing really caught my eye, the recommended fluid for the MT82 manual tranny is "Ford Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid", not using Mercon V like previous manual tranny's.

Wonder how much $$$ Dual Clutch Trans Fluid costs?

Must be the same fluid they use in the new DCT tranny on the new fiesta.

I read through mine when I first got the car, but I'm a little hazy on it now. I seem to recall the manual suggests the manual transmission fluid never really has to be replaced anyway though.

As to how much it costs, I really don't know.

I was one of those who had a VERY long wait for his order, so I'd actually downloaded the manual and read it start to finish about 5 weeks before the car arrived...

You never know when you might have a seal go south on you and you will need some of the fluid to fill it up.

It makes for some good bed time reading. I read it in 2 hours before falling asleep and still waiting on my final "user manual guide" exam.

I've skimmed over it several times. I've also used it when just to brush up on basics, like fluid capacities, bulb types, etc., just to get familiar with them.

Same for me, except I think I read mine about 3 months before the car came in.
