Lets take a poll and see how many really like the rear on the 2010. It seems like its only a handful of people posting over and over loving this rear end. This should put some perspective on were the Mustang lover stands on this thing for once and for all.
Right now i do not like the rear. Will need to see it in person. Once i start getting b**** slapped by the Camaro and Challenger in my 08 i may change my mind and jump on a 5.0.

I'm waiting to see it in person before I make a final judgement, but so far i'm leaning towards love (actually like, but that isn't an option.)

Yeah, there probably should have been a middle-of-the-road option, but I guess the OP wanted people to vote who feel strongly one way or the other. The only bias there is that people like you who "like" it (but don't love it or hate it) will most likely vote "love" rather than "hate"

 

After the pictures I've seen to date, I'll be happy if, in person, I can vote "tolerate"...

 

It would have been a Fair Poll if it would have had At Least 3 Options as There are bound to be those that simply think, It's Just OK, or those that, Kinda Like It, or those who Don't Like it, But Don't Hate It Either. It is this kind of Closed Minded, Black Or White Mentality that is what is So Wrong With This World Today! I'm not saying you are Wrong because You Hate It, Or That I Am Right For Loving It. I'm just saying that I don't get why this has become such a PISSING MATCH! If You Don't Like It DON"T BUY ONE! Or At Least Wait Till You've Seen It In Person.

What Kills me are all of you guys that haven't even actually seen it in person and just automatically HATE IT, while I have read quite a few comments from people that Did Not Like It in Pictures, but once seeing it in person changed their opinion or at least Thought it Didn't Look As Bad as They Thought as it did in Pictures.

So I guess it's pretty Pointless to Post, because You All Know Where I Stand.

 

I would have included 4 or 5 options. Love it, Like it, dislike it, hate it. I think that would have been a better indication. It's kind of like asking, does the 2010 rear end suck? yes or no only please.

Like most rear ends, if the ride is good you get to like the look. Personally, I think it looks great and an improvement......as well, it "goes" with the new design.....do you think the '05-'09 rear end would look good on the updated body?? I mean really, if your "lady" needed to lose 30 pounds, and actually did so, would you want her to keep her old rear end??

The real question IMHO should be focused on overall design, which I think works.

It's the black plastic "diaper" that I take issue with. I understand the intent behind it, but think it could have been done significantly better. It draws the eye to the least flattering characteristic of the rear end, like a zit on the forehead of a bikini model...
