All these "I just got my car" threads is getting old. This is a public discussion forum about Mustangs not your personal delivery experience. Sheesh.




It's good to see so many members getting their rides. But remember the forum rules, don't post unless you have pics. (It's not in the rules but it should be!)

 

I think they are very useful. Although they might be better suited to a single thread, I have learned a lot from seeing who's getting their cars, where, and what type they ordered. Shows me that not a single GT/CS has been delivered to a preordering customer. No matter how much agony that individual may endure on a daily basis.

 

This forum was like that back in 2005. Nothing is wrong with that. If you just want tech talk go to s197forums.com

At this point its almost more about having a car with A/C...the A/C went out in my Taurus last week and its starting to get hot in Texas!

 

Did you go retail order verification ( IE the dealer asked for your license and uploaded it to ford) or did you get retail allocation?

I had my VIN two days later doing retail order verification. My old order was allocation and I waited 5 weeks with no VIN.

Heck, when yours comes in, the rest of us waiting will have to beg for pics just to carry us over 'til our cars come in.

 

I took the post as someone who is still WAITING to get their car and is jealous of those that HAVE their new car. I wonder if the poster will tell us when he gets his new car?

I had A/C for a year back in 1999. And for about 6 months around 2005. Really looking forward to finally having a daily driver car with A/C. Of course, having said that, now it will probably go out in the first couple of months. But it will be under warranty, so irony's wake will be short lived.

 

I'm kinda burned out with it as well. Vin or no vin; delayed or on time? C'mon guys, deal with it.

 

Guess what? Today, there's still no change.

And yes, I'll post pics when I get the car. After I post a thread without pics.

Ford CS says they'll get back with me "within 5 business days" which is pretty much by next Thursday evening/Friday and since AAI doesn't work on Friday, I fully expect, "Yeah, we don't have any new information for you."

If this were Christmas, I'd fire Santa.
