Has anyone done a flat blakc 2010?

Just wondering how it would look on the new body. I love flat balck but it doesn't work on all cars. If anyone has done it please post a pic, or any chops if someone has done any.

Why would somebody ruin a perfectly good mustang like that?

lol that's spray paint tho! Just botched.

The best I could muster up is a body modded 08. Not the best pic, but you can extrapolate...

EDIT: Plus for everyone out there who is considering a flat/matte black ... there's another option besides painting. Check it tho durability may be questioned... but still...

No matter rattle can job or not I think flat black only belongs on Rat Rods, and I'm not a big fan of flat black then either.

This car just looks to me like a car waiting for the color coat to be sprayed...

More importantly, I wonder if that GT-R was being used in any baseline testing???

That 2011 mule has me rethinking ordering an 11 in black, then having it vinyl wrapped in flat black!

Some years back I read on a hot rod or truck magazine (don't quite remember) that there's an actual flat paint that's resistant to the elements than black primer. Du pont, I think it was the brand Any auto body shop guru that can confirm this?

Yup, there are lots of flat finish automotive paint colors available.

I'm no auto shop expert on this but pretty sure the paint is called Rustoleum.

Flat black can be a very, very sexy look for a car. It just depends on the car. The S197 just doesn't do flat well at all.

Here's one vote against flat paints. I don't care what the color is or what the car is, I hate the matte finish. It's like covering a mansion with tar paper.

I don't care for the 08 in flat black. It just looks off.
