Has anyone broken broken a 2011+ drivetrain component due to wheelhop?

Most of us, especially those with Brembo package/Track Pack cars have experienced wheelhop...and the stress that this puts on every component of the drivetrain os frightening...
...that said, I know of nobody who has actually broken a u-joint, axle or anything in our cars from this unfortunate attribute.

What have you heard?

How many miles do you have ? its definitely there. You will experience it. It isn't terrible, but rough highway expansion joints or a washboard blacktop road. Will bring it on in hard or even moderate acceleration. I just consider it part of the quaintness of owning a retro muscle car.

I havent changed anything suspension wise. I had a 2010 which had it bad. Felt as though the dash was going to fall in my lap.

The 2013 hasnt done it once, i dont know what it is. I have just over 2K on it now. Ive done a few burnouts....... WOT 1st + burn all through 2nd and it just doesnt do it???? Why I dont know???

Lol...that's for sure. I'm hoping my Roush anti-hop kit and LCA's prevent that from ever happening to me!

Are you talking about wheel hop or the ride quality with the brembo package? Wheel hop happens during lauch or burn outs. And I would be supprised if you were able to do demonstrate it with moderate acceleration.

Yea, wheel hop doesn't occur at speed... Unless you can break traction at speed...

Interesting, I am running the stock pirellis....are you? Are you lowering psi?

Just trying to pin point any differences...

stock pirellis, I did not lower the pressure at the drag strip. The drag strip is also the only place that I have gotten it to wheel hop. 5 Autocross events and not a hint of hop there or on the street

I get wheel hop on acceleration when the temp is less than ~45 degrees F. The brembo package tires are the first set of summer tires I've had that really mean it about only being happy at warmer temps.

I don't have the Brembo pkg, just a stock GT. I get rear wheel traction breakage over expansion joints or rough roads under even moderate acceleration. It isn't terrible but it is there.
