Seriously though, the 5.0 is a GREAT engine. But so is Chevy's whole series of LS engines. It's the package the General screwed up, not the engine. Put the LS in a Mustang ... and lookout.

I lived this video yesterday talking with the son of the owner of the local Chevy dealer yesterday.
I also added a few more comments of my own.
19 years old and driving a Camaro SS (no he didn't have any help buying it ).
He even mentioned you "can't compare the 2010 Camaro to the 2011 Mustang they are different years".

I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if he took that conversation straight from a forum somewhere, haha. As for the Camaro, I think we're pretty sure it's not getting a major model update for 2011, unless you count convertibles. Hilariously by the time the 2011 Camaros are out, Ford will be ramping up production for the 2012 Mustangs. Huh, I wonder if that's part of what compelled Ford to pull forward the model year.
