ME was more active but it was just a bunch of kids I think. Seemed like there's more knowledge and quality over here to me.

Maybe a catted h because I'm in California. But even then I think most catted h pipes won't pass inspections

My bro got his crappy accord to pass smog check though. He had his check engine light on and it ran like crap. He gave the dude a franklin and he passed.

With STAR testing in effect if you got a SMOG renewal notice that says you need to go to a STAR approved shop then chances are as soon as they plug in the OBDII and it reads any codes you fail. If it has a tune on the car you had better be only a FRPP Procal (only CA approved tune that i know of for sure) tune as most other tunes will be red flagged. If it is an older vehicle you might get by a time or two but CA wants those cars off the road and make you red tag it when it fails and then the countdown begins to the crusher. Cats need to be in stock location and config. No LT or unapproved shorties. It is a real turd going through all of this but those are the regs. Certain counties do it a bit differently but most are strict.
