To GT500 spoiler or not?

Every day I keep going back and forth on this. I like the spoiler delete look but I also like the GT500 spoiler look. I'm so split

It looks great the way it is now. If you do the GT500 rear wing I think it will look best with the Roush side splitters, and the GT/CS front fascia. That's the look I want to go with in the long run.

It looks like you already have the GT500 diffuser, so the GT500 spoiler would finish off the look.

Personally I think the spoiler delete and the GT500 spoiler look the best on the 10+ body style. I ordered the 3DCarbon GT500 replica from CJ Pony Parts for $271 shipped and painted. Still waiting for it to arrive though

Nice ride, I'm near Sterling as well. How much did they charge you for the dyno run?

Hey thanks! Mach V charges $100 for 3 runs or $125 for 3 runs with an AF reading. About 3 or 4 times a year they have an open house and charge $75 for 3 runs with AF. Unfortunately they don't tune Mustangs as they're a Subaru, Mini and BMW shop, but they're a bunch of great guys that love the 5.0 I'll probably head up the next time they have their open house to get a 5th gear run done.

I think you should stick with the delete, but this is a personal choice. Your car looks great with that uncluttered rear end. I actually do not like the wing that came on my CS, If I could have ordered one without it, I would have.

Put the gt500 spoiler on. Car looks weak without a spoiler.

^This x a million....

The GT500 spoiler looks clean....but not as clean as the delete .
PLUS in my opinion, the spoiler delete look is more unique.

Of course, this is all coming from a guy who ordered his without a spoiler ...

I prefer the GT500 spoiler. But YOU need to decide which one YOU want. All you are going to get on this thread is a collection of opinions from people you've never met and will likely not ever see your car, so our opinions don't count for squat. All that matters is what YOU think.

Here's a suggestion - when I am truly torn about 2 mods, I usually then just default to the cheaper option of the two. Looks like you are all set to go with spoiler delete. Cost - $0. So there ya go.

mine came with a spoiler delete...i always thought it looked too "plain" without a spoiler and too much like a v6 mustang (according to my friends).

i settled on the gt500 spoiler and i think it looks great and also helps improve the appearance of the relatively "weak" rear end design.

Do it. If I didn't have a camera in mine I would have already switched to the 500 spoiler.

Do what YOU want as stated before, it's your car. I think the car is missing something with the delete and to me looks ugly. So another vote for the GT500.

I use to own two 5.0 notchbacks back in '88 and '91 and loved the sleeper look they had. So that's why i opted for the spoiler delete on my '11. I didn't ask anyone's opinion on what they liked or not about my decisions, i went with my gusts feeling. That is called personnal taste. To each their own.
