Looking good Steve, now time to get rid of those big ugly mufflers and get aftermarket ones. The Bassani's are half as big.

 

I put the Ford GT500 rear splash guards on my 12 GT tonight. Someone on here, can't remember who, recommended taking off the rear wheels. Who ever made that suggestion, I followed it and I want to say thanks. I was tempted to try with a shorty screw driver or right angle driver, but those screws are in deep and tight. It was a snap with the wheels off. Gave me a chance to look around the rear suspension too.

 

They are so nice... Simple cheap functional mod....

 

Did they have Yosemite Sam or the outline of the naked lady on them?

You can also use a high temp flat black paint and simply disguise them. Took all of five minutes. Be sure and clean them for good paint adhesion.

 

I installed my GT500 mudflaps but with 1/8 of an inch gap at the top

 

Hmmmm I just did mine with a short ratcheting screwdriver ... Took 10 mins tops. Wheels on of course.

 

Looks like the 2013 GT's all have them now.
