GT/CS vs Brembo

I just ordered this past weekend a Ingot Silver GT/CS, but keep thinking of changing my order to the Brembo package. I know it's personal opinion, but which do you guys like better? Also, how long is it before my car is locked in and I can make no changes?

Don't listen to other peoples opinions on a car you're paying for. If you like the GT/CS then keep it, but if you're having second thoughts already and think the brembos are what you want then go for it. I think both look great, but I wanted the 5.0 badge and wen't the brembo route.

I think the order is locked in two weeks before it is scheduled for build, something like that.

Definitely the Brembo package. The CS option is an appearance package. The Brembo option is a performance oriented package. No question in my mind.

FYI ... GT500 Brembo take-offs go for $600-$800 .. I think the GT/CS has 19" wheels so there is a good chance they will fit.

I had already thought about removing the GT/CS stripe and putting the 5.0 badge in it's place.

I'm getting the GT CS and I would like to put the 5.0 badge on it but I really like the look of the fade stripe. I was thinking about just punching it on right below the stripe slightly offset to the right. What do you guys think?

I say skip the 5.0 badge ... looks too balloony .... Too bad they didn't go with a more futuristic font like Chevy did with the Camaro SS ..

What color are you getting? I wish someone had picks of a Silver GT/CS, but I've searched the internet and can't find any.

I also ordered an Ingot Silver CS. Personally, I like the look of the CS and think the package looks much better in lighter colors. I don't plan on spending any time on a track so I won't be taxing the brakes much. Even if I did, I'm sure at some point the aftermarket will support performance braking. The CS package would be much more difficult to add yourself.

The body is pretty simple to update to the GT/CS ... if you want the GT/CS interior ... then you might as well order the CS since there is no other way to get it unless you are gonna spend BIG $$$.

I CSified my 2010 ... but skipped the billet chrome grill ...

Yeah, in I keep thinking it would be easier to upgrade the brakes to Brembo, then vice versa and I agree, I think the Ingot Silver will look amazing with the CS package.

Race Red. Just like I saw it at the Washington Auto Show. I knew I was getting an 11 but when I saw the CS I knew I had to have it, Race Red and with the All Glass Roof. Has a great red and black feel.

Nice, I wanted to pick that color, but in the end I went with Ingot Silver.

I probably would not have ordered the 2011 Mustang if the GT/CS option didn't exist. Still worried about the seats but like the wheels, fascia and grill. Hate the regular wheel options, dual fog lights and fascia but the saving grace is the 5.0 badge.

DMHines, did you purchase and install the front fascia yourself? I want the brembo package but I also want the front and rear fascia. The dealer said that the factory will not build it that way - any ideas anyone?

Yes you can purchase them through your dealer and either install them yourself or have the dealer install them. The parts for the front and rear should come in around $400 + installation
