I pickup my 2011 Glassback GT on Monday, I took it easy driving back with just a couple of quick sprints in the right places on the interstate. Love this car, she did wake up with an attitude this morning.

Thanks, already enjoying it. I spent part of the afternoon tinting most of the lights out. I may just leave the headlights as they are, I've seen a lot of complaints about the Halogen not being bright enough. Then again I go back to the old sealed beam pre-halogen days.

You're right about that, I was only able to find 2 on the market within 250 miles of me. The other was an 09 5 speed with 75k on it.

 

I've never heard anyone call it or refer to it as a " glassback " !
Both window stickers list it as a glass roof.

I agree with you on the "glassback" thing! Never heard it called that either but I guess it kind of fits. Congrats to the OP on your purchase ENJOY! Like the hood scoop & pedestal spoiler makes it look the muscle car part!

 

The factory hood scoop and pedestal spoiler sets it a part just a little more from the other GT's.

 

YEP! Have the same on my 11 GT! Known as GT Accessory Package 4! See my signature. I however did not get the glass roof for my car when I ordered it.

 

I first saw the term Glassback on a eBay listing. Then at the 50th Anniversary Show I saw a early S197 Glass Roof car. It actually had Glassback written in the glass of the roof. Similar to the top of the windshield how it has the sun deflection strip by the mirror. I have the picture somewhere on a older phone. I can try to recover it if anyone is interested?
