I think led in general isn't going anywhere. It is much more efficient. However the excessive use as decoration is bad. I think fords use on the 13-14 is very tasteful. Acuras new use although ugly acts as the primary lighting. The other guys treat it like the headlight is a Christmas tree.

I did notice that. Being a Roush owner, it doesn't really bother me at all.
Not crazy about the LEDs, but if you like them, that is what matters. Car looks great though.

Our white LEDs are a nice subtle upgrade that gives the car a much cleaner look. I'm not a fan of the factory halogen and incandescent bulbs. But again with LEDs it's totally a matter of personal opinion, some people are going to want underglow no matter what you say to them lol.

If you like the way it looks then fine, but frankly I can't stand how those aftermarket LED strips never seem to straighten up when installing them.

Lots of 'hoopdies' here in NYC are sporting them trying to mimic the luxos. I kinda like how they implemented it across the angle of the bottom of the headlight, see if you can straighten up the strips though...

LED's aren't going anywhere. Like design cues from previous generations, they will change and they will date the cars they're on now. They will be a permanent part of vehicles going forward, however.
