A good tune + CAI?
A good tune + CAI?
Would this be a good bang for the buck? Any problems with any of them so far?

That's probably, one of the best- if not the best- CAI on the market for the 2010+ there's ample information on these forums if you search.
I have the steeda on my 2010, and there's already 4-5 members with it on their '11. It's a great piece.

The Steeda CAI looks and probably works good though.
So to me the combo of the Steeda CAI and Bama tune is probably a very good choice.
I Agree! You can also wait for the JLT also. Very good product and another honest vendor. You will average around 25rwhp going from 93 to 93 tune no matter who you buy from.

Where do you get that the Steeda is $75 more than the C&L ?
The Steeda is $389 and the C&L is $379, looks like only $10 difference to me.
And the Steeda is a better design, has a straighter path of air in front of the throttle body.

What tests have you done on both intakes to make a comparison that the Steeda is a better design? What type of machines did you use to equally test both products?
I use anecdotal data for comparison, in other words, use what I've seen and read.

I read that on their website too. I'm leaning towards the CNL myself for that (and other) reasons. They seem honest, straight forward and looks like a nice product.
Personally, I'm waiting for a tune that gets rid of skip shift. Montreal Ponies claims that his tune eliminates it, but Steeda and BAMA both said otherwise when I emailed them. Perhaps it's a Canada-only thing?
I think Montreal is waiting (as am I) for the Stteda update that will eliminate skip shift. From what I've read no one has cracked this yet..
With all the consternation over this I'm surprised one of the shops hasn't figured it out yet.

I agree....The Corvette was so simple. Pull the harness or pull the fuse, Then Jumper the lead with a resistor if you wanted to loose the dash light. It was cake. The Mustang HAS to be similar.....A solenoid getting it's signal form the ECU to engage or not. Maybe I'll have to put the car on the lift tomorrow and nose around some....
