Horray, that's great news I am glad for you, you have been at ramp 51 a long time. The rail trip for mine was only a couple of days your wait may be about over. Hoping to see your pics soon, your new ride will be definitely worth the wait!

Yeah, seems it's the lot where the newly built cars go, quality and or just holding. then off the another ramp for loading on truck or rail car. In this case ramp 5R, mine wast loaded at ramp 5P.

For what is worth... my GT500 is still showing RA61 since April 1st (It was built on April 7th). AFAIK, after almost 2 FULL months my car is still there "awaiting shipment"...! With nobody knowing why !!
I am sure one of the cause is poor inventory location management for the cars sitting on the lot.

KNK11STANG - Your car and mine were built the same day with similar options. They were probably on ramp 51 together during those 47 days!
I heard from my dealer last week that it was ready to ship as soon as they were "had a full load". JohnnyB shows that since 5/11 it has been ready for transport by CSX (which apparently is a truck car carrier rather than rail) at ramp 5P. I don't know how long it takes to get a "full load" but you would think there are ample Mustangs available! Hopefully now that the any 2010 holiday sale events are over Ford will beging pushing these out more aggressively.

I thought CSX was a rail line? See lots of rail cars with that logo. Could be totally wrong!

I'd call your dealer tomorrow and if there's no change in status: I'd go right up the sales and marketing chain until finding a big enough boss that can get the logistics guys to get the thumb out... Rediculous .

Now that Mulanzo has his (built April 5) you should have yours this week. Everyone in that build date week that I've been tracking is delivered.

I can say i'm happy it's no longer on RAMP 51.Just as long as Ramp 5R doesn't become RAMP 51 all over again.Hoping that it'll be delivered this week.

I wouldn't get too excited by this news. My car was built 4/21 and has been sitting at ramp 5P, since at least 5/2.
All ramps are potential black holes, not just the infamous "Ramp 51". We can still think positively!

Man mine hasn't been sent offsite yet... I guess that means I have to wait till it's sent offsite, fixed, then delivered. Still great to hear a retail GT/CS has found it's owner.
