Have you ever floored a Prius from a stop. It's just not right. They should come with a little engine noise maker in those stupid things.

Yeah.

They should come with a V8 rumble through the subwoofers piped out the (fake) dual exhausts.

Maybe a fan on the dash with a playing card stuffed in the fins.

I find that my car loves WOT at least once during each drive. Today's was a bit wild as I eased from a side road in 1st, nailed 2nd hard and forgot I had the nannys turned completely off.....woke me right up but it finished as a fun ride. Even the wife liked it...lol

Not me, but I did work on the electric car project at Chico St. when I went to school there. This was back in '94-'97. The EV-1 had 16 nickel-metal hydride batt's and our little Saturn had 26 of them. At $10k a pop. Fortunately they were donated by Ovonics. Anyway that thing would SMOKE the front tires from a stop! No fake noise needed.

I'm a firm believer that if you go WOT on a regular basis then it's no surprise to your engine when you, you know, go WOT! It's worked for me on my '64 Falcon convertible with the 289 and my '99 Powerstroke 6-Speed with nearly 300,000 miles. And the Boss? Use your deductive reasoning skills.

After running around town for several months, taking her out on the highway for a few hundred miles makes the car run better for some reason.

You've gone WOT only once?

So you must not have had your car for more than a few minutes, right?

Running a great car like your Mustang at WOT is good for your soul no matter whether it does anything for the car or not.

You should WOT it regularly... stretch the rods out so you don't get those mushrooms at the top of the cylinders.

Make sure your oil is up to temp in all cases.
