Got my VIN today how do you guys get your window sticker? Said it should be built the 28th.

Did Paul just e-mail you your Vin#, or did you call him up and ask for it? My car is only one or 2 behind yours on the order list, but I haven't received my Vin# yet.

 

I called him but it is a long story. They never cancelled my car when they went to reorder it through the Ford program. So i have 2 cars on order. This one will be like a stock order and no guarantee it will be shipped before the retail order. So what ever one arrives first i get. So its will just be luck of the draw.

 

Well this is getting irritating...My car was supposedly scheduled to be built today, and I STILL can't get my window sticker.

All cars have been on hold for about a week now... That's probably the reason why... Check in on the "Production Hold on Brembo cars" thread... The name is wrong as the hold is not just Brembos as initially thought...

 

If a window sticker exists does that mean the car has been built? Is the date on the very bottom in the middle the build date? What is BLEND and some of those other numbers on the top?

The date at the middle of the bottom is the date you looked up the sticker (the date the pdf was generated)

Blend is the sequential build number - it goes from 0001-8999 then rolls over back to 0001. Cars are not build in VIN order.
The window stickers are generally available a week before the car is expected to be built.

The date production begins on the car is the 8 digit number preceding the Blend number (minus the leading '1'). --> 1YYYYMMDD

 

I checked this morning, and it was finally there. The date at the top now shows a (assumed) scheduled production date of 4/26 (I had been given a printout by my dealer showing 4/19), so it looks like they're running a week behind.

 

Just got mine a few minutes ago also. Mine shows the same as yours, 4/26 at the top. It shows today's date at the bottom. I was also told mine would be built 4/19. I guess the good thing for us is that our cars aren't sitting outside in the weather while waiting for the fix.

 

What are the going to build all the cars on 4-26? They just moved mine from 5-07 to 4-26.

BTW I think thats the week of 4-26 as you will notice the dates are almost always on mondays,

 

My date was 2010 04 15 which was a Thursday.

Okay, finally. Mine popped up and is scheduled for the 27th.

Pulled mine up for the first time... the date up at the top says 120100422. Hopefully that's the real deal.

 

422 would mean its scheduled for tomorrow. Not sure how that's possible if the plant is shut down this week.

 

Maybe they'll put mine together by hand! LOL

Edit: On the other hand, Chuck Norris would just persuade the cars to build themselves...
