Gas stations

What gas station brands are the best? I have always used shell, but I have notices lately, that they are about .35 cents higher than other stations for 93. I don't mind paying the extra .35 cents but what am I getting that another station cant give me. I did try speedway for one tank and I don't think I will go back.

any input would be great? Thanks

I wish it was but no it has that sticker on the pump so I think it has ethanol in it.

If there is ethanol then it will say contains up to 10% ethanol. If there isn't a sticker it should not contain ethanol

In Missouri there's a mandate that all 87 octane must contain 10% ethanol. No sticker required.

Really... Interesting. In CT all stations have ethanol too but they all have indications of it

99% of the time I go to Murphy Express. It's always the cheapest around. Does anyone else have them in their area?

I've been running 100% gasoline or the past few months after finding a Cenex station that sells alchohol (ethanol) free 92 octane unleaded. Car runs smoother, gets slightly better gas mileage, and feels a little more powerful. Ethanol has lower energy content than gasoline (bad for power and efficiency), but as it's made from corn it helps lower our nation's dependence on foreign oil imports. Just wish there were more gas stations with 100% gasoline left (there's only one anywhere remotely close to me and it's about 40 cents more per gallon than E10 92 octane).

If you use the regular Murphy gas stops in walmart's lot and use a walmart card to pay you get 15 cents off a gallon, doesn't work at the murphy express though.

This is where I buy most of my diesel when I'm on the road but buy gas near home wherever it's cheapest.

In my area all of our gas comes from the same storage facility in Charlotte. It is mixed to each stations standards (detergents, etc) right out of the tanker truck. I use shell quite often, but I can't tell the difference when I use Sam's Club gas. Finding an ethanol free gas in my area is like finding hen's teeth.
