Galpin's convertible hardtop Mustang - what do you think?

At SEMA Galpin had a one-off convertible hardtop 2011 Mustang on display. I had heard that they were going to build one, and it actually looked better than I thought it would. What do you guys think?

I don't really like it, the side view makes it look sunken in to me. And that back view looks really wierd. The lines just don't seem to line up and flow good, but to each his own.

I don't like it for the same reason I don't like verts when the top is up. It destroys the roof line IMO. From certain angles it looks like a Mustang El Camino

"The top has an OEM appearance"...

Um except the windows don't even line up and there's a 2" gap? Also, they took my orange pearl from the chop I did a few months ago. And painting the rockers still looks horrible. The top is too rounded. They should have made it more angular, like the roofline of the 64-68 coupes. I see potential here, but this is a rough first rendition...

Wow is that ugly. Looks like a Mustang / 2005 Thunderbird deformed offspring.

Uh..no.

What good is it? You park in the rain and with the gap between the windows your car will be full of water in 20 minutes.

Plus it looks stupid.

It would have been better to just have a 1 piece removable hard top like those special Cobras had, not sure which year?

Looks like someone just took the top of a lexus sc300 and dropped it on a mustang.

Pretty poorly executed if you ask me.

Hmmm, not a looker, is it?

I want to see more photos of the other 3 cars here. The black Mustang, GT and the hot rod!

Yeah I'm not crazy with the look, they could've done a better job. But I do like the wheels, anyone know what they are? They kind of look like Shelby wheels.

Is it just an optical illusion, or is there a LARGE gap between the side windows and the top seals?

Ugly - Hideous - I can't think of the best word to describe that. Not as bad as some of the other "pimp my ride" crap they do, but ugly as crap.

Waste of time and money.

They should have just put brembo brakes on that car and left it at that.

If the battery has been disconnected the window won't tuck in. They will stay at a fully extended upward position if the windows are up, All 05+ do that.

IMO, not a very good looking top maybe as a notch back it would have looked a little better.
