Would you buy a Future Mustang in Flat (Semi-Flat) Black Paint?

I don't think I'd be inclined to buy such a paint scheme, but I do have to admit that the Focus RS500 is a hot little number.

Me? Probably not. Not my sort of thing, but not bad looking. I don't like how it looks from certain angles though, most notably where the brake lights are in scene.

And yes, those windows need to be as dull as they are in the pics.

I want to know how hard it would be to keep clean, how much do fingerprints show up, etc.

No clear coat I assume. Is there such a thing as matte clear coat?

Anyway, I have my doubts that matte black would do well when exposed to the elements.

IMO, it looks rice. It might make sense on a Jeep though.

I think that would look awesome on any performance car... very stealth-like.

there is a such thing as matte clearcoat.

and I would be totally down for this. make it a stripped out barebones car too. that would be absolutely slick

Nah...I'd get tired of it. But I would however vinyl my car matte black...

In 1976 Ford Mustangs, Mavericks and Pinto's were available with the Stallion package. They were painted matte black from the factory ... so it wouldn't be a first for a flat black Mustang. A new model Stallion would be pretty cool.

I've seen the LF-A in matte black, it's slick, but it doesn't come clean. The Gallardo in matte pearl was pimp!

Never. I hate the flat paints. It's fine on a tank or army truck, that's about it. Submarines too, I suppose.
