I was going to the office today to pick up some mail and guess who pulled up next to me at a light? I am sure you guessed an m3 vert with two punks in daddys car lol. They gave me an engine rev and I returned the favor. Guess who won? No need for me to answer that one. Anyway they wanted nothing to do with me after that and good thing cus I would not have raced em on the street but it was still fun. I think they must have seen the 5.0 after the rev.

 

Too bad for the M3.

 

I agree paid about 35k too much because he could have had 2 5.0s to listen to and drive.

 

I should say I have owned a 3 series (not m) but drove many m3s and they are great cars but if I was in the hunt for a car and drove a 2011 5.0 and a new m3 i would have a really tough time justifying an m3.

 

Funny you mention the M3. I've had only two cars hassle me on the road. One was an M3 hardtop, the other was an M coupe. Why does the sight of a 5.0 drive them nuts?

 

They know that the 5.0 is their competition now... And will be seeing MANY of them.


It would grind my gears too if I paid 65-70K and a 50K STOCK car can smoke it.
