Fun at Watkins Glen track day (video)
SWEET! Well done. It's always nice when you can pass a $100k super car in your Mustang
. Man, I need a Go Pro to record my laps
I like that back straight, it's pretty quick.
Oh oh, sorry for the duplicate!

The video recording was actually done with my iphone... I also have a gopoint BT1 (bluetooth) OBDII interface that connects up with Harry's Lap Timer on the iPhone to create the data overlay on the video. Also have a go-pro, but it doesn't have the data overlay with my setup. Quite impressive for the iPhone... being an engineer, the amount of data output is my favorite part
Back straight is a blast. The esses take some cojones to go flat out (notice I briefly lift...). That whole track is absolutely awesome. Favorite in my experiences over the past years.

Great video, nice driving, and gorgeous track. I used to live in NY/CT. Now I'm in Las Vegas area, and we race at Spring Mountain. WG is more scenic. The GoPoint combined with Harry's is very cool, too.
Would like to get out and try some of the western US tracks... would be quite a trip for me though from the east coast.
WG is a beautiful area. Great track, great location. Plenty of room for improvement for me, but 2014 should be a good year

NASCAR races at WG every year. They don't drive the boot though, they cut over just after the bus stop. Love watching those guys run WG though, the speed they carry through the esses makes humbles me
Not exactly sure what you're asking - I used my iPhone 4s with the application Harry's Lap Time Pro for the video footage and part of the data overlay (track position, accelerometer, lap time). The tach readings, MPH, gear, and throttle position were data feeds from the OBDII bluetooth gizmo I bought (gopoint BT1).
Hey Brandon. Most track videos I watched had quite a few turns and curves compared to this one, so I decided to call it the 'NASCAR-style' Track in which btw I'm dying to attend if any in SoCal Area. Actually, I'm going to call this a 'Mustang Track' hehe. Lately, all I can think about is Tracking my Mustang...must...track...must...tang...

Thanks - the gopoint device is very cool. Also works as OBDII reader/code clearer and can probably utilize to do some tuning if you find the right software. I use it for monitoring engine parameters in addition to the video data overlay. Was a good find!
Oh - love your avatar too
